J. Kenneth Harris was admitted to the Bar in New Jersey in 1985 and to the Pennsylvania Bar in 1975. He has a B.A. in Economics from the University of Virginia (1970), a law degree from Villanova University (1975), and a Masters in Taxation from New York University (1979). Ken is active in many local organizations and is on the Board of Directors for the Small Business Section of the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce (Chairman 2004-2005) and the Board of Directors of the Moorestown Visiting Nurses Association (Chairman 2006-2008). He also served as the Chairperson of the Youth Mentoring Committee of the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce and was past Chairperson of the Camden County Bar Association Tax Committee. He is a frequent lecturer before various professional and other organizations inclusive of the American Association of Attorneys-Certified Public Accountants, the New Jersey Bar Association, the Camden County Bar Association, and has published articles on planning for retirement plan distributions, use of limited liability companies, and tax and estate planning, and the use of dynasty trusts. Prior to entering private practice Ken was a Naval Judge Advocate and retired from the U.S. Navy with over 20 years of combined active and reserve service.
He is listed in Who’s Who in American Law and has been recognized by his peers as being experienced in representing closely held businesses.
